 Introducing Maliketh's Black Blade

 Inspired by the world of Elden Ring, Maliketh's Black Blade is one of the most meaningful weapons in the entire FromSoftware franchise. This colossal sword once housed the Rune of Death—the power capable of inflicting true death upon demigods, those normally immortal beings. Maliketh, the Shadow Beast and loyal guardian of Queen Marika, was tasked with protecting it. A name that has come to mean, among the demigods, "Death of the Demigods."

 But during the Night of the Black Knives, Ranni the Witch managed to steal a fragment of this Rune of Death. In response to this affront, Maliketh did something irreversible: he bound his own blade to his flesh, fusing the weapon with his body so that no one could ever steal Death from him a second time.
