 In the world of Sekiro , the Mortal Blade is the only object capable of cutting through that which cannot die. In a land where the Dragon's blood has corrupted humanity, granting them immortality, Fushigiri—the Immortality Cutter —is the exception: a cursed blade, kept in Senpou, that kills those whom death has forgotten. Wolf, a shinobi bound by oath to his young master, must seize it to accomplish what no other weapon can. But to touch this blade is already to die a little.

 The object exudes a funereal elegance. The silver lotus-shaped tsuba —a Buddhist symbol of purity born from mud and of rebirth—frames a straight blade with a wavy hamon , its temper line running like a black wave along the steel. The white handle with its dark braiding and the dark wood saya complete an austere and ritualistic silhouette. Nothing here evokes the battlefield: everything speaks of ceremony, sacrifice, and ancient gestures.

 For the Mortal Blade embodies the tragic heart of Sekiro : that immortality is not a gift but a curse, and that the true act of love sometimes lies in offering death to those who are deprived of it. It serves as a reminder that there are oaths that demand more than life. To possess it is to hold the emblem of the Wolf—the promise to break the cycle, whatever the cost.
