 In the world of Demon Slayer , Kotetsu is the young guardian of the village of swordsmiths—a spirited child with a heart far bigger than his stature. Recognizable by his ever-present red hyottoko mask, he watches over the combat training dummies, mechanical mannequins passed down from his ancestors. Beneath his gruff exterior and blunt manner lies a fierce pride in his village's craftsmanship and a sincere devotion to those who come to hone their skills there, starting with Tanjiro.

 The figurine presents him in all his childlike simplicity. Standing with his arms at his sides , he wears a red tunic over yellow sleeves and dark trousers, shod in traditional sandals. The hyottoko mask raised on his forehead reveals his young face with its round cheeks. No fighting pose: just the little guardian as one might encounter him in the village, between repairs. Displaying him is to keep close the young heir of the blacksmiths—the one who, in his own way, protects the weapons of the slayers.
