 Introducing the Lich King

 He was a prince. Arthas Menethil, heir to Lordaeron, paladin of the Silver Hand, driven by a sincere desire to protect his people. It was this very desire that led to his downfall. To save his kingdom from the undead plague, he crossed every line, sacrificed every oath—until he seized a cursed blade that demanded his soul in exchange for its power.

 The sword is Frostmourne. Forged from ice by the Lich King to trap anyone who would covet it, it devours the souls of those it cuts and binds them for eternity. By wielding it, Arthas thought he took up a weapon; he became, in reality, its instrument. Each harvested soul fed the Scourge's power, and the icy blade left behind only an irreversible chill. Beautiful, runic, lethal—it is the promise of absolute power bought at the price of everything one is.

 The helmet is the Helm of Domination. Crown of the original Lich King, prison forged by the titans to contain the spirit of Ner'zhul, it ceaselessly called to the Frozen Throne. When Arthas donned it atop Northrend, the prince died and the Lich King was reborn—a fusion of two wills into a single being of ice and death. Beneath this helm with its cruel edges, there was no longer a man: only the cold dominion of a lord of the dead ruling over a silent legion.

 Reuniting Frostmourne and the Helm of Domination is to resurrect the figure of the Lich King on his Frozen Throne — he who was prince and executioner, hero and damned, and whose icy whisper still echoes: "Let no one remain alive."
